1. The “Skip It” Rule – Most questions apart from business details are not mandatory (address, contact information and NAICS code), if there is a question that you can’t or don’t want to answer, you can skip it. 

2. Confidentiality – Confidentiality - Personal information contained on this form is collected pursuant to the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, M. 56, R.S.O 1990 and will be used for the sole purpose that it has been collected. All information you provide is confidential. 

All the responses from businesses will be summarized as percentages or averages in a report, guaranteeing anonymity. Based on the analysis of the survey results, actions will be developed and implemented to support the growth of existing businesses and the economy.
